Rev Hossana Yohanna the District
Pastor of Garki District in Abuja, told media men at the annual Harvest and
Thanksgiving Service in Garki last year November that the 2015 General Election
was going to be conducted peacefully and Nigerians will be surprised of what
will happen as a result of the election. He said it will mark a turning point
in the history of the Nigerian democracy. “Many people are worrying about what
will happen in 2015, I tell you 2015 will be a year of peace for Nigeria and it
will be a surprise for Nigerians. 2015 is a year of Unity.” He said people of
God will rejoice and they will see God at work. “I have seen a glimpse of light
in the darkness, though people are afraid but I see peace and progress for
Nigeria. There are those who wish that this country is divided they will not
succeed. Nigeria cannot be divided.” Rev Hossana reiterated.
Going by the outcome of the March
28th general elections and the response of the President of Nigeria
who showed an uncommon sportsmanship in accepting defeat and promptly calling
the person that won the election, and of course the calming spirit that
followed the actions. It is no doubt that the hands of God was at work. With
this it shows clearly the God has spoken about the situation Nigeria through
his servant and he prophesied accordingly.
