South-south zonal leaders of Assemblies of God passed vote of confidence on Rev Dr Okaraofor

The South-South Leaders of the Assemblies of God Nigeria have demonstrated their overwhelming support and commitment to the leadership of the Church’s General Executive Committee and its Leader Rev Dr Chidi Okaraofor. The leaders whose statement was dully indorsed by Rev. Friday A. (Warri District Superintendent), Rev Living Joshua (Bayelsa District Superintendent), Rev Prof. Robert Ebuade (Esan East District Superintendent), Rev Isongoyu Eshiet (Calabar District Superintendent) and Rev Emmanuel Udoaka (Eket District Superintendent) passed a vote of confidence on the General Superintendent Rev. Chidi Okaraofor and the Executive Committee.

The Nation Newspapers reported that “they rejected the agitation for the South-South General Council of the Assemblies of God, saying the ploy is “Ungodly, absurd and unconstitutional””. The Executive committee representing South-South said such agitation was misguided and misinformed. They alleged that the Ex-General Superintendent of the Church Rev Paul Emeka must have masterminded the agitation.
